The exhibition for the “Fungo, Floresta, Futuros” project presents the work developed over the course of a year in collaboration with Monte da Ervilha and its human and non-human agents.
Using film, sound recordings, and curiosity as our primary mediators, we have built a relationship of attention and listening to the territory and the plants, minerals, and animals that inhabit and traverse it.
Faced with uncertainty about this place’s future, we sought to understand its present: the different times and stories that run through it—from seasonal cycles to transformations caused by human activity, from the sounds of birds to the noise of urban construction.
