Tincal lab celebrates the next event of Simultaneous Openings in Miguel Bombarda area on September 19, Saturday, with the presentation of the individual exhibition by Francesca Cecamore: “Afterglow”. Visit Tincal lab, shop 3 of CCBombarda, we will welcome the artist from 4pm to 8pm.

Francesca Cecamore was the winner of the Selection of the Public Award (online voting) of Tincal lab Challenge 2025 Jewelry and Celebration. To visit until November 9.

STATEMENT
Afterglow
The “Afterglow” collection evolves naturally from my foundational series “Lost_Labour_Love”, which explored the metabolization of grief while clearing my parents’ house. Where that first project turned rescued objects into the beginning of my practice, this new series continues to build on some of those objects, moving forward into renewal. Named after the expanding energy and lasting luminosity left behind when a star explodes, “Afterglow” speaks to transformation, lingering light, and the beauty that emerges on the other side of loss.

Francesca Cecamore is a narrative jewelry and mixed-media artist, wonderdrifter and transmaterial storyteller, into electronic music and Fluxus. She captures magic in the mundane through wearable art made of found objects and personal materials, helping people bring their own tales out to life in small personal wearable artworks.
Life and its events and end, memory, and social issues are key themes. She explores game design and interactive exhibitions, as she believes in play, drift, and art as ways to marvel in everyday life and to stay sane through hardship. In her words: “Life is a Wonderdrift”.
