Fasten Your Seat Belts! is a dazzling, ironic satire that invites us to look at the world—and its fractures—from above, where social realities become clearer and more impossible to ignore. Having explored almost every corner of the Earth, our gaze now turns towards the stars.

The performance subtly questions the future of luxury space tourism, which promises new frontiers while exposing deeply rooted inequalities and significant environmental costs. In recent years, the space tourism industry has grown by more than 300%, with billionaire-led companies competing to send civilians into orbit, build space hotels, and commercialise the cosmos.

With this production, as part of the Transport project, Klaipėdos Lėlių Teatras (Klaipeda Puppet Theatre) presents its work for the first time in Portugal.
