Transport: Connecting Flights takes us to an airport—a crossroads of cultures, journeys, and destinations that reveals a microcosm of our globalised world. At first glance, it appears to be a place of openness and freedom, where languages, traditions, colours, and races converge. Yet behind the gleaming terminal lie hidden prejudice, and systemic flaws that expose the darkest layers of contemporary society.

At the heart of the performance is the story of a refugee family forced to flee their home in search for safety in the unknown. The airport becomes a place of hope, but also of inescapability—a place of arrivals and departures, dreams and expectations, where invisible borders become painfully palpable.

Following Jacek Malinowski’s The Story of Prince H, Białystok Puppet Theatre returns to fimp with this new creation.
