Oops, I have lost my body! Displaced by a misstep, a body drifts away in search of lightness, a sense of calm, and perhaps reconciliation with itself.

Moving through a succession of physical states, it recounts its transformations and the unique physical features that have shaped and defined it. With modesty and humour, it speaks of comforting gestures, tender caresses, physical intimacy, but also of the hidden forces that propel it forward…

This is an invitation for us to contemplate the body, its movements, and the ties that bind us to one another.

Following L’étreinte, presented at fimp in 2018, Valério Point returns to the festival with this new creation. Among its many qualities, Supersensible offers a beautiful contemporary reimagining of string puppetry.
