Formiga Atómica is here to show us O Estado do Mundo (Quando Acordas) [The State of the World (When You Wake Up)], a reflection on the climate crisis, told through the story of Edi, an 8-year-old boy who ‘uses and discards many things every day.’ On stage, there is only one performer and a mountain of everyday objects and utensils, whose purpose and environmental impact we rarely stop to question.
