This workshop focuses on the manipulation of life-sized puppets—a fertile ground for delightful confusion.
Where does the puppeteer end and the puppet begin?
Participants will first learn and practise some of the fundamental principles of puppet manipulation before inventing and exploring new bodies.
Bodies in which puppeteers get lost, intermingle, disappear and re-emerge.
Through improvisation exercises and writing short scenes, participants, both individually and in groups, will search for new characters and new lives.
