Porto is hosting the second edition of Grief Festival, a pioneering event that aims to transform the way we experience grief. It is a free event with activities for people of all ages. Artistic performances, talks with experts, workshops, self-care stations, listening stations, poetry circles, activities for children and families, stories of hope, community embroidery, a musical Death Café, the ‘Silence of the Birds’ trail, murals, book presentations, and much more. It is taking place at five venues in the Marquês area — the Marquês Garden, the Marques da Silva Foundation, the Porto Polytechnic Cultural Centre, the Paula Frassinetti School of Education and the Parish of Senhora da Conceição.
