FAUPfest is a music and arts festival that has been held annually in the gardens of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto since 2015. It aims to promote emerging national projects and seeks to rethink the way academic dynamics relate to the city in a constantly changing cultural context. In recent years, the festival has undergone rapid growth and now occupies an important place in the national student context, as well as in Porto's music scene.
The 2025 edition of FAUPfest will take place on 16 May, celebrating its 10th anniversary. The occasion served as a pretext to reflect on the work carried out by different generations of students over the last decade. For this edition, the aim was to maintain the festival's eclectic and diverse programme, representative of the diversity of projects being developed in Portugal, as well as the musical preferences of the student community. However, the aim was to stabilise the size of the festival in order to meet the logistics of producing the event in a more conscious and sustainable way.
The event's line-up promotes 12 musical projects, spread across the venue's three stages. On the day of the event, the already established artists' fair will take place on the site and there will be a small but diverse street food area.
Line-up of the musical projects:
- Arianna Casellas & Kauê
- Claiana
- c-mm
- Conferência Inferno
- EVAYA
