Between July 4 and 24, The Editory Artist, an artistically-inspired hotel in the heart of Porto, is hosting the “Common Space” exhibition, a collaborative showcase for emerging creativity in the world of fashion design.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on July 4, at 5:30 pm, at The Editory Artist, and will be attended by the young designers, teachers and project partners.
The exhibition features creations by the 2nd year students of the Fashion Design Technical Course at Escola Artística e Profissional Árvore, developed as part of their Final Project. The result of months of research, experimentation and construction, each piece reflects a critical and authorial approach to the world of streetwear and brand identity.
Based on an in-depth study of brands such as Bonsai, Cawley, Amiri, La Belle Etude and Marni, the students developed unique collections, revealing creative maturity and aesthetic awareness. “Common Space” proposes a reflection on how fashion translates cultural, social and individual realities, highlighting the creative process as a language and expression of identity.
Admission is free and the exhibition can be visited daily until July 24.
