Escuta Ativa [Active Listening] is more than just listening to a record; it aims to provide total immersion in the experience of listening and paying attention. Each month, guests from various backgrounds are invited to share personal experiences and musical stories inspired by a selection of vinyl records from the collection of the Fonoteca Municipal do Porto.

This October, our guest is Pedro Rios, editor of Ípsilon – the arts supplement for the Portuguese daily newspaper, Público –, who will lead a joint listening session of The Clash's second studio album, Give 'Em Enough Rope.
