A free and humorous interpretation of Charles Perrault's tale ‘Cinderella’, which only didn't keep its title because it was released after the well-known Disney version. Despite receiving an honourable mention at the Venice Film Festival in 1950, the film eventually fell into oblivion and its 35mm colour print disappeared, with only a 16mm black-and-white print known to exist. The Cinemateca de Catalunya tracked down and restored the copy we're showing here, restoring the film's original colour based on some found frames.
