Summer is a time for street parades and pilgrimages, featuring the many bands that remain active throughout the country, many of them already centuries old. It is also the season for another Band Gathering at Casa da Música, where tradition is not forgotten and is celebrated—first in Sala Suggia and later with parades outside.
