Japanese bookbinding is a technique that involves sewing together loose sheets, without the need for sequential planning. Starting from a basic method, the stitching possibilities are highly varied, ranging from simple to more complex patterns, resulting in highly customisable objects.
This session is divided into two stages. First, we will explore the basic method to learn the logic behind this technique, as well as a more complex stitching pattern. Then, to consolidate this new knowledge, each participant will make a notebook to take home.
