Experience Trindade – Porto will host a concert specially designed for the Lenten season on March 27, at Trindade Church.
The concert will be presented by the Eccos Ensemble Vocal, a choral group supported by Questão Abstrata – Associação Artística, a non-profit artistic association based at the Municipal Complex of Casa do Alto in Pedrouços, Maia.
Under the direction of the lyric soprano Mónica Lacerda, the ensemble will perform the timeless Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, in a first part marked by spiritual depth and musical beauty. The program will continue with arias and duets from Stabat Mater Dolorosa by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, evoking the reflection and emotion characteristic of this liturgical season.
The concert will also feature the collaboration of the following musicians:
- Solo soprano: Mónica Lacerda
- Piano/Organ: Francesca Serafini
- Violin: Gaspar Santos
An evening of sacred music and contemplation in one of the city’s most emblematic spaces.
Free admission (donations in support of the choir are welcome)
