The ephemeral becomes a trace, and the minimal gains weight. At the center of the gallery rises a 2.5-ton mountain of confetti — fleeting matter turned into sediment. As it moves, like a shifting dune, the mountain leaves almost imperceptible marks on the walls: embedded fragments that only a trained eye or a specialized archaeologist will be able to recognize and retrieve.
