In this commemorative edition, we’ve created a space with four films that make us reflect on parenthood through the big screen—from humor to tenderness, from despair to unconditional love. A special session, the first one at IndieJúnior dedicated to parents.

We begin with the witty short film "Não. Não. Não!", a story told from a child’s perspective that will leave parents deep in thought. Next is "Pequena História", an animation about a hardworking ant and her little red egg, in a dramatically realistic metaphor.

Then, in "Uma Mãe Vai à Praia", we meet Teresa, a single mother who spends the day at the beach with her son Benji and her sister Marga. The day turns stressful due to Marga’s comparisons and criticisms of Benji.

Finally, "És a Minha Luz" tells the story of a mother whose motherhood is marked by an exhausting routine, isolation, and fatigue, leaving her a shadow of herself. But something happens that helps her understand and overcome her suffering.*
