The world we live in is rich in visual references of all kinds, which makes us essentially visual beings. From advertising to design (especially digital), visual culture plays a fundamental role in the way we understand and experience our reality. This workshop, led by Salomé Carvalho and Filipe Fernandes, aims to explore these concepts, starting from the History of Visual Arts and the main factors and moments that mark the references shared by the whole of Western culture.
