In anticipation of the day of children's greatest hero, their lifelong best friend, Runporto will be holding the 20th edition of the ISAG Corrida do Pai on 17 March 2024.

The event aims to bring together fathers and sons of all ages and is scheduled to start at 9am in the city of Matosinhos.

In addition to the 10km timed race, there will also be a 5km non-competitive Mini/Walk, with both events starting and finishing at AV. Norton de Matos.

The father is the main figure, but we invite the whole family to take part, this is a unique, special event that will undoubtedly be one to remember later.

New - Kids Race

This year's event has a special race dedicated to the youngest. All children up to the age of 12 who want to join their parents in this sporting atmosphere can sign up for the Kids Race, which has the same route as the 5 kilometre race and will also be entitled to the event's official medal at the end of the race.

To encourage youngsters to take part in sport, the race will have a special price of 3 euros and they will also be entitled to a kit, which will include a T-shirt dedicated to the little athletes and a custom-made bib.

This novelty aims to bring the whole family together on a different Sunday morning, combining fun with sport.
