Coreia is a publication founded in 2019 with an experimental, critical, and discursive approach to the arts in general, grounded in an intrinsic relationship with dance. The launch of issue #15 is accompanied by Lilian Steiner's performance ‘Dance Becomes Her’.
Dance Becomes Her (2022) is a lecture-performance that explores the ways in which dance and embodied knowledge are shared between bodies and archived within them over time. Language and movement collide, merge, and slip between one another, helping to articulate and demonstrate the work's central inquiry in ways that neither could achieve on its own.
