Florian Stoffner, guitarist
His playing style is unmistakable and unique, and has been described as “a kind of autopsy of the guitar sound.” Solo or in collaboration with musicians such as Paul Lovens, Rudi Mahall, Alfred Zimmerlin, David Meier, Albert Cirera, Lionel Friedli, Jason Kahn, John Butcher, Chris Corsano, and Hans Koch, as well as spoken-word artist Anna Frey, she has become one of the leading figures of the Swiss improvisation scene.
Both visionary and retrospective, she holds the standard of instant composition high and repeatedly demonstrates how vibrant, surprising, and relevant the tradition of free improvisation is today.
Albert Cirera, saxophonist
Albert Cirera is a mature, adventurous, bold, and courageous musician who, throughout his career, has explored numerous paths, always driven by the search for new expressive languages.
Exploring territories such as classical jazz, free jazz, and free improvisation, he has demonstrated that music is not just a matter of style, but of experience.
He is one of the most eclectic and distinguished saxophonists in the Iberian Peninsula, with strong ties to Portugal and Lisbon, where he lived for five years.
He has maintained an artistic alliance of over 15 years with drummer Ramon Prats through the DUOT project, but also collaborates regularly with Andy Moor, Abdul Moimême, Olie Brice, João Lencastre, Agustí Fernández, Valeria Miracapillo, Nicolas Field, Florian Stoffner, Johannes Nästesjö, and Clara Lai.
