A U.Porto concert entirely dedicated to the cycle from Christmas to Epiphany, centred on works from Fernando Lopes-Graça’s Second Christmas Cantata, alongside pieces by several other composers. The programme begins with the Nativity, featuring works by Pedro de Cristo, Pedro Escobar and Tomás Luís de Victoria, and continues through the Adoration of the Child, Epiphany and the Janeiras, interwoven with moments of reflection and contemplation, with music by Michael Praetorius, Delfina Figueiredo, Diogo Dias Melgás and Anton Bruckner.

With the debut participation of the Coral Infantil da Universidade do Porto, under the direction of Pedro Guedes Marques and with Filipe Cerqueira at the piano, this two-choir concert celebrates Portuguese music and brings the festive season to a close in the iconic Church of São Bento da Vitória, in the heart of Porto.
