Computer Picture Tratamento is a solo exhibition by Miguel Tavares that focuses on speculative advertisements for the services of a digital healer.

This digital healer, an elderly Chinese YouTuber who lived in NY, offered healing sessions to people around the world, mediated through the screen of his computer.
The healer’s treatments involved massaging an image of the illness through the screen, breathing warm air onto the received image, and whispering healing phrases.

This project investigates analog gestures intertwined with concepts of futuristic technologies and is part of a series of works that started in 2021.
