Circuitos’25 is the second edition of an initiative that aims to highlight the people, spaces and projects that shape the cultural fabric of Porto. Held from 19 to 21 September 2025, this city-wide programme invites the public to engage more closely with the richness and diversity of contemporary artistic production in Porto.
More than 50 venues – including museums, artist-run spaces, project rooms, independent studios and commercial galleries – open their doors for three days of discovery. Each day follows a suggested circuit across a variety of spaces, accompanied by a parallel programme of events including exhibition openings, performances, concerts, talks and informal gatherings.
While rooted in the local scene, Circuitos’25 draws attention to broader conversations on artistic practice, visibility and access. It provides a collective moment for reflection, celebration and encounter – not only among artists and cultural workers, but between institutions and independent initiatives, established audiences and new publics.
Promoted by the Contemporary Art Department of Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto, E.M., this edition consolidates the event as a key platform for mapping and connecting the city’s contemporary art ecosystem.
