The Sala Estúdio do Perpétuo cinema, in Costa Cabral, had a regular programme from 1967 to 1984. It screened great films from cinema history, acclaimed directors and actors, Portuguese cinema, Indian cinema, kung fu and horror films, and films that marked generations, alongside its popular children’s matinees.
Between September and December 2026, SEIVA TRUPE pays tribute to this legendary cinema and its audience with a programe featuring movies that were screened there and have remained in someone’s memory — and told us about it.
