With live music by artist, musician and actor Manuel João Vieira, we set off to discover the fantastic worlds imagined by Italian filmmakers Giulio Giannini and Emanuele Luzzati.

Based on four short films made between 1979 and 1981, we travel to a colourful world where the magic of tales and the adventures of the marvellous are mixed together.

King Baldovin is angry because his golden apple has been stolen. He asks Prince Biondello to find the culprit, who is none other than a firebird. The Three Brothers (1979 / Switzerland / 9')

Three brothers live in perfect harmony until one day they fall in love with the same girl: the king's daughter. Faced with a difficult choice, the king announces that he will give the princess's hand to whoever brings him the most fabulous gift. The three suitors set off in search of an extraordinary gift.

Pulcinella and the Magic Fish (1981 / Switzerland / 10')

One day, a magical fish bites poor Polichinelle's hook and promises to fulfil her every wish if she lets it live. The dreams of Policinella and his wife come true, but they are always unsatisfied...
