On Fridays and Saturdays in August, the Cinema Fora do Sítio cycle presents films for everyone, always at 10pm and with free admission, in various locations around the city.

This is an initiative of Porto City Council, in partnership with the INATEL Foundation, and every year it promotes open-air screenings of more or less recent cinema titles designed for all generations.

Once again, the proposals are divided into screenings for the general public on Fridays and films for the whole family on Saturdays.

The line-up includes award-winning titles such as ‘Ainda Estou Aqui’ (I'm Still Here), which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2025 and was directed by Walter Salles; ‘Mission Impossible: The Final Hit’, starring Tom Cruise in the title role; and ‘F1 - The Movie’, which takes a behind-the-scenes look at Formula 1, starring Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton.

Saturdays will be filled with films for all ages, an ideal programme to watch with the family. Highlights include the film ‘A Panda in Africa’, which follows this character on yet another adventure; ‘Paddington in the Amazon’, which invites us to once again follow the adventures of this animated bear; and ‘Lilo & Stitch’, the story of a friendship between a human and an alien being.

Saturday's screenings will be shown in the Portuguese version. The remaining screenings, scheduled for Friday, will be shown in the original version, with Portuguese subtitles.
