This welcoming pottery experience for families, in Matérica's bright studio, allows families to discover the fundamentals of pottery through accessible practice, offering a choice between two distinct approaches: learning to mould plates, bowls or mugs from raw clay using modelling techniques, or painting and glazing pre-fired bisque pieces with coloured ceramic glazes and underglazes.

This flexible workshop format accommodates diverse family interests and age-appropriate skill levels, with all pieces created undergoing professional firing in a kiln, transforming the soft clay into permanent functional ceramics, available for collection after the firing cycles, which complete the transformation of the raw material or biscuit pieces into finished ceramics, handmade by family members.
