A strong desire to pay tribute to the talent of Portuguese female songwriters has resulted in Rita Redshoes’ new and seventh album, for which the artist invited some of the most prominent female creators in Portuguese music, who contributed original songs and lyrics about their perspectives on what it means to be a woman in the world. Expanding the scope of the project, Rita invited women from across the country to participate in a musical artist residency and, as a result, to present their work during a special segment of this concert – a symbol of free expression and a sense of belonging to a collective voice.
