Composer and multi-instrumentalist Miguel Marôco released his debut EP, Noite, in December 2020. Months later, he won the open submission competition for the 55th Festival da Canção with “Girassol”, which he performed in one of the semi-finals. His debut album, Marôco, followed – a solo journey weaving through indie, folk, R&B and beyond. Now signed to Cuca Monga, he released his sophomore record, A Eternidade – a blend of Portuguese traditional songbook and fusion jazz. He now comes to Casa da Música to present Desgraça, an autobiographical work marrying jazz-inflected songwriting with the sharpness and precision of synth-driven pop.
