If it is comforting to hear someone tell us in January that winter does not last as long as it seems, when that someone is Mafalda Veiga, whose voice we associate with the flight and song of birds and the light and colour of spring, the promise becomes even more vivid and invigorating. In a special concert featuring Ensemble Ibérico, the singer-songwriter takes us on a journey through her particular artistic geography, visiting emblematic songs (such as “Planície”, “Restolho” and “Cada lugar teu”) and recent themes (such as “Óscar” and “De fio a pavio”), without losing sight of unreleased compositions that will feature on her next album of originals. An intense and warm evening, marked by Iberian tones, where each song finds its purest dimension, reflecting the maturity and, at the same time, the contemporaneity of Mafalda Veiga, in that place that is “hers” between memory and the future.
