Remix and Sinfónica take to the stage to perform Hèctor Parra’s Inscape, a fascinating work that results from unexpected dialogues with astrophysics. In the first part, in which each group performs alone, Emmanuel Nunes’ modern language sets the tone for the only movement that Mahler completed in what would be his Tenth Symphony: a brilliant piece that disconcerts us like a journey into the unknown, only to win us over with the intensity of the emotions it contains. The guest conductor is the prestigious Pierre Bleuse, musical director of the Ensemble intercontemporain, who is appearing on the stage of Casa da Música for the first time.
