La nuda voce, a very recent work by Francesca Verunelli, seeks the moment when the voice separates from the body to become song, from the most intimate vibration of the vocal cords. The text interpreted by guest soloists Johanna Vargas and Helēna Sorokina comes from the Italian oral tradition – a poem about the voice that is lost. After Remix, the Symphony takes to the stage to immerse itself in the last work Debussy wrote for orchestra: a poetic tribute to real and imagined places, brushed with the mastery of the great French “impressionist” composer.
