A leading figure in Brazilian music, Heitor Villa-Lobos was a master at combining popular tradition with classical language. Fantasia em Três Movimentos (em forma de choro), composed in 1958 for the American Wind Symphony Orchestra, reveals this vibrant synthesis between tradition and modernity.
