But who was the Viscount of Trindade? ✨
José António de Sousa Bastos, a prominent 19th-century figure in Porto, built his fortune in Brazil before returning to Portugal. Known for his philanthropy, he dedicated himself to the Order of the Trinity, where he was elected Prior. His chair, preserved in the museum circuit, remains a symbol of his legacy.
