Visual artist Joana Valente, based in Porto, is a friend and enthusiastic supporter of the Miguel Bombarda Cultural Quarter. She collaborates on projects supporting children with Down syndrome, is a co-founder of “Eu Sou Eu – Association for the Social Inclusion of Children and Young People,” and regularly exhibits at the Simultaneous Openings. On January 24, 2026, she presents her individual project “Embracing the World” and leads an activity for children.
