Partner Blues brings together different forms of African American social dance developed in close connection with Blues music, where connection, rhythm, improvisation and musical interpretation play a central role.

Led by Edmilson Botelho, these regular intermediate/advanced classes are designed for dancers with previous experience and offer an opportunity to deepen partner connection and communication, Blues dance vocabulary, musicality, improvisation and different movement qualities.

The classes explore a deeper relationship between music, body and partner, working with different rhythms and possibilities for expression while remaining connected to the historical roots and cultural context of these dances.

No partner is required to join.
