To celebrate the Chinese New Year in February, we invite the public to take part in “Welcome the Chinese New Year!”, a programme of activities designed to introduce the richness of Chinese culture in an open, participatory and accessible way for all.

The programme includes Chinese folk dance, with four sessions held throughout the month of February, taking place every Sunday, allowing participants to engage continuously with this traditional art form. It also features a Chinese calligraphy workshop, consisting of two sessions, where participants can learn the basics of this ancient art and try writing Chinese characters themselves.

In addition to these activities, there will be a special afternoon dedicated to parents and children, offering creative workshops, games, storytelling and moments of family sharing, reinforcing the festive and community spirit of the Chinese New Year.

Through dance, art and shared experiences, this initiative invites everyone to discover, experience and celebrate the Chinese New Year, while promoting intercultural exchange and the sharing of traditions.
