**Atlas + Fissura**
**June 12, 2025 (Thursday)**
@crl\_centraleletrica | FREE ENTRY
**Fissura** *(theater)*, 7:00 PM
by Alexandre Dal Farra & Pedro Vilela (TREMA!)
The encounter between an immigrant and a protest in Europe triggers a stream of memories and reflections. As he recalls the sequence of events that led him to leave his home country, he reflects on what keeps him in this new land.
*FISSURA was funded by the 2023 Project Support Program – Creation, @dg.artes & Criatório 2024, @plakaporto*
**Atlas** *(exhibition)*, 6:00–9:00 PM
by pedro\&ines
Focusing on colonial invasions ("the Discoveries"), “Atlas” unfolds as an audiovisual exhibition of five works, each centered on a key visual symbol: the caravel, sugar, the cross, and the flag. Through a mix of design techniques, digital animation, archival materials, and multimedia, the project interrogates the history of colonization from the 16th century to the present day, seeking to expose how colonial narratives were constructed and how they continue to reverberate in European memory and identity.
*This project was supported by the 2023 Project Support Program – Visual Arts, @dg.artes*
**Tickets will be distributed at the door**
