"As the wind is about to meet the leaves", the moment before an event, which becomes an event in its own right. With a title taken from the poem "The Wind Will Carry Us" by the Iranian poet and filmmaker Forugh Farrokhzad -which also lent its name to the film by director Abbas Kiarostami - the artist Sara Gonçalves invites us to close the door through which we have just entered and explore the space between spaces, between what was and what will be.
This in-between space exists in the process of becoming, capturing the liminality present both in the unfolding of a story over time and in the gaze's journey through the images.
