International jazz group led by pianist and musical director Renee Rosnes, ARTEMIS is composed entirely of women: Ingrid Jensen (trumpet), Nicole Glover (tenor saxophone), Noriko Ueda (double bass), and Allison Miller (drums), all with distinguished careers as bandleaders and exceptional performers.

Since their debut at the Newport Jazz Festival and signing with Blue Note Records, the group has established itself as one of the most significant ensembles in contemporary jazz, performing on stages and festivals across North America and Europe. Their latest album, Arboresque (2025), features compositions from all members and reflects the quintet’s artistic maturity. Recognized as Group of the Year by DownBeat magazine readers in both 2023 and 2024, the ensemble stands out for its sophisticated fusion of lyricism, creativity, and virtuosity.
