"Ten years after the success of the show Curado, we are once again bringing together former Portuguese army combatants with young musicians and dance students in an artistic project that celebrates freedom, the end of the Colonial War and 50 years of democracy in Portugal." - CdM

Directed by Tim Yealland and Jorge Queijo, April features members of the Association of Disabled Members of the Armed Forces, students from Balleteatro and trainees from the Training Course for Musical Entertainers.

This show is part of the festival Ao alcance de Todos (Within Everyone's Reach), an initiative of the Casa da Música Education Service, which has been held annually since 2007 and which "has given many communities the opportunity to develop artistic projects at the Casa da Música that, as a rule, favour collective creation".
