The Pernambuco Institute welcomes, on November 8, the multi-artist Antônio Nóbrega, one of the most unique and accomplished figures in Brazilian culture, for a concert with Clube do Choro-Porto.
A native of Recife, Nóbrega began his career in the 1970s within the armorial music movement, conceived by Ariano Suassuna, which sought to unite Northeastern popular traditions with the classical forms of Western music. Building on this foundation, Nóbrega created a unique body of work that combines violin, singing, dance, theater, and poetry — expanding the boundaries between the popular and the classical.
In Porto, the artist shares the stage with Clube do Choro-Porto to celebrate choro, frevo, and baião — a vibrant encounter between tradition and modernity. There will be two sessions filled with virtuosity, lyricism, and joy — a true celebration of Brazilian music.
🎟️ 1st batch: €15
📞 Reservations: +351 914 237 808
⚠️ Limited seating!
🕢 Two sessions: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM
