Perf takes over Passos Manuel to celebrate the release of Amuleto Apotropaico's second album, Língua Espúria.
The label's first release was the 2025 self-titled debut. It distilled two years of concerts into four pieces where improvisation, drone and ritual momentum blurred. Língua Espúria (Spurious Tongue) speaks another language. António Feiteira moves away from the guitar-and-drums interplay that anchored the debut and embraces a fully electronic framework of fractured rhythms, concrète textures and self-generating systems built around a machine that learned his drumming. What was once shared between two performers now runs as a single restless current.
System Sophie brings Carbolines to Porto for the first time. After its premiere at Semibreve, Sofia Ribeiro’s new work arrives live in the city she shares with Guimarães. She co-founded the Ūmër collective and worked with Hardware Live, a platform for real-time electronic improvisation. As System Sophie, she builds expansive electronic music ranging from geometric techno to open ambient terrain.
GAM closes with a DJ set. Pedro Abrantes and Valdemar Pereira, the Porto duo behind Danzas Obsidiana, treat the musical archive as open ground, ignoring genre lines and experimental boundaries. Their sets swerve from post-1950s academic research to the sharp-edged virtuosity of now, gathering riffs, anthems, dances, sound-system weight and decades of buried obscurities along the way.
