A restless duo with conflicting tastes who, due to life's circumstances, had
to put aside their differences in order to come together and do the unforgivable:
mix tradition with puntz puntz.
Altra Project has as its central point the union of traditional Portuguese music with
electronic music. It was this idea that brought them together. Using the timbres, rhythms, structure
and sonority of Portuguese folklore as guides during the creation process, in
which they try to ascertain the possibility of symbiosis with effects and rhythms
characteristic of electronic dance music. Their sound can be pulsating
and electrifying as well as calm and melancholic.
This concert will take place at the Liberarte Space on Friday, July 4, to play their songs acoustic in an intimate setting.
