According to some experts, however, the symphony cannot be compared to a painting but expresses the feelings of someone visiting a rural landscape. The titles of its movements invite us to experience joyful impressions of the countryside, a scene by a stream, a joyful gathering of peasants, a thunderstorm and the resulting thanksgiving of the peasants after the storm. In this commented concert, we set out to discover them, like someone on a Sunday excursion.
