A comercialização de espaços

UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto will host a lecture by Cornelis Eldering (Niels), Head of the Entrepreneurship & Business Incubation Office at the European Space Agency (ESA). Aimed at BSc, MSc and PhD students, the session will explore the role of entrepreneurship in commercialising space technologies, with insights from ESA’s business incubator network (ESA BIC), which has supported over 1,800 startups across Europe.
This edition, held at UPTEC, will place special emphasis on research and business opportunities in the New Space sector, with a focus on Europe’s position in the global innovation and entrepreneurship landscape.
Open also to pre-university students, the lecture aims to foster interaction between different academic levels and provide:
A basic understanding of the role of entrepreneurship in technology transfer and application;
Insight into how entrepreneurship and business incubation fits in ESA’s commercialisation strategy;
Awareness of the challenges of entrepreneurs and their startup ventures.

This lecture is provided through ESA’s Education Office in close collaboration with ESA’s Commercialisation Services Department.
