Parque da Cidade once again hosts the unmissable Primavera Sound, and the emphasis on eclecticism remains strong. The first day sees Charli xcx's debut in Portugal in a post-Brat (2024 album) summer, with her maximalist pop modulated by the intimacy of ANOHNI and the Johnsons or the warm electronica of Caribou. On the second day, the mature teenagers in the audience will witness the materialization of memories with Deftones and TV on the Radio, while Aminé and FCUKERS keep the stages pointed towards new frontiers. The closing of these busy days is headlined by the expansiveness of HAIM and Jamie xx, with room for slow-burning songs by Destroyer and Kim Deal. Throughout these days, the national selection of bands has brought together names such as David Bruno, Eu.Clides, Capitão Fausto, and one of the performances that lit up Agenda Porto's anniversary party in January: Nunca Mates o Mandarim. In this edition, the festival will also spread beyond the city center, with a warm-up at the Galeria Municipal do Porto on June 10 at 4 p.m. and a closing event focused on electronic music on the 15th.
