On September 26 and 27, Quarteirão de Bombarda will be transformed into a creative and urban laboratory with Pop-Up do Futuro, an initiative of the Bombarda Digital project.

For two days, ten local commercial spaces will host a dynamic program that combines art, technology, and community: interactive installations, concerts, performances, DJ sets, activities for children and young people, talks on “systems of the future,” and micro-workshops on digital skills.

One of the highlights will be the launch of 10 augmented reality installations, developed by artists such as André da Loba, Diogo Cottim, Diogo Matos, Mariana Malhão, and Projeto Ruído, which can be explored through the Bombarda app. The works will remain accessible in the coming months, linking the neighborhood's identity values to digital and experimental languages.

Pop-Up do Futuro is part of Bombarda Digital, a project funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, led by the Municipality of Porto in partnership with Porto Digital, Associação Quarteirão Criativo, and AHRESP.

More than a cultural event, Pop-Up do Futuro is a meeting point for residents, visitors, merchants, and creators, affirming Bombarda as a space for innovation, diversity, and experimentation. Admission is free—everyone is invited to experience the future at Bombarda!
