ocelo [occelus] is a sensory and multidisciplinary creation based on the need to look at the context in which we’re living in a positive manner, given the will to create on the beautiful. It is an entirely original performance that does not stem from an existing, linear narrative, and that uses image, sound, movement and dramaturgy as its main creation materials, existing together and chasing away the idea of disciplines manifesting themselves separately. It is based on the will to explore the beautiful as the place where reality and our imagination come together, the beautiful as a feeling of awe, of WOW. — Daniela Cruz
“They may think that anyway beauty is rather relative, that everyone has their own definition of beauty—you find this beautiful, but someone else doesn’t; or you find this beautiful one day, but not the following day.” — Jean-Luc Nancy
